    Hi David,

    you wrote, that Horinaja is cross-browser compatible, but in Firefox (3.5.1) it doesn’t work 100%. I didn’t tested it on my self, just on your demo site. The mousewheel doesn’t scroll the slideshow but the entire webpage.

    It seems, that your site is generally not very Firefox friendly. Ive attached a screenshot and you can see, that the main content on the HowTo site is moving to the right sight.

    Any hints, to get the Firefox compatibility? Im very happy to find now a script like Horinaja.

    that’s right, horinaja create a bug (event.stop) on firefox 3.5, i think it’s because ff use a new javascript core.
    i try to work on that.

    well well well, that’s ok, now horinaja works fully on ff 3.5 (but i’m no sure does work in ff < 3.5 ..)

    Great job!

    Horinaja is working perfectly fine on my FF 3.0.10, IE 8.0 and Safari 4.0
    Hope you have fixed the issue stated earlier for FF <3.5

    Hi David. I was found bug in your site on page: http://davidmassiani.com/horinaja/howto.php
    If screen resolution less then 1215px, all main information move outsire right screen border.
    I was tested in: FF 3.5, Safari4, Chrome3. Opera9 work correctly.
    P.S. Very vice slider!

    Well it will be so nice of you if you add circular slideshow option as well. But not as jcarousal implements it by dynamically adding duplicate nodes. Infact really circling the sliding items.

    Hi David!
    First of all, I want to thank you for that superb script. But I have a question, similar to Mauricio (9th comment). I have placed a Horinaja div between two links – « prev»  and « next» . For this moment, it only works, if I use mousewheel, but I would love to do it _also_ with clicking on the buttons. I was trying to do a jQuery function for that, but I am no expert in js. I would be very grateful for your help.

    prev and next are not available, i work on a pro version when this are available.
    but if you check the code source of horinaja (version jQuery) you can try to do work this, for this you can access to variable but i don’t know how.
    sorry and check horinaja later for view version pro.

    Hi David !

    I’m trying to integrate an horinaja slideshow to a site I’m working on it, And I got an issue.I posted a screenshot here.
    The code of this example is pasted here.
    Actually I don’t know if it’s a bug or a bad use of horinaja. In the second case, I would really appreciate if you point to me the thing I’m doing wrong.

    sorry but i don’t know the problem, but i think it’s a bad use of horinaja, you should try to css your div width.

    or you can waiting few days, i work on pro version (7.16$ or 5€)
    or let me see that on action please, i can help you if i see that :)

    Thanks for the great script – working great here :-)
    One question: how would I position the pagination at the top of the slideshow? I tried modifying the CSS but I wasn’t able to do it… Thanks!
    p.s.: I bought the Pro version but couldn’t find a link to download it; do you send that by e-mail?

    bonjour benoit,
    you can’t place pagination on top, because this is the script place this on the bottom, but if you want you can modify the script, see the line 272 and 273.
    When you have payied on paypal you can just return on my site, but i send you by mail the script.

    first i want to say that I like your script… It is a great one and it’s easy to use.
    My question is: Is it possible to use self-created links for the pagination? Not numbers, just something like « hosting»  or « guestbook» .

    I hope you understood my question ;) Sorry for my bad Englisch, I’m from Germany.

    tout d’abord, bravo pour votre application qui me sera bien utile pour mes futurs projets web.

    J’aurai bien une suggestion à vous faire concernant une future version d’Horijana:

    Est-ce qu’il serait possible plus tard de pouvoir modifier le sens du slider? (par exemple proposer le slider en horizontale comme c’est le cas actuellement ou bien à la verticale qui je pense sera plus intuitif pour l’utilisateur)

    salut julien,
    non en fait cela ne sera pas du tout possible, parce que pour parler d’intuitivité, si je modifie la possibilité de changer la direction du slide, tu ne devrais meme plus avoir besoin d’horinaja, en effet, un bête scroll genre iframe suffirait…
    Dans mon esprit horinaja devait aussi émuler le sens de lecture occidentale.

    D’accord, et puis je n’avais pas aussi fait le rapprochement avec le « hori»  du mot auparavant sans compter le fait de pas avoir penser aux iFrames (l’heure tardive peut etre…).

    j’adore vraiment ce slider. Mais il y a un petit probleme : j’ai mis des grandes images chaque « »  et voila le resultat : http://artexhibitz.com

    j’ai tout essayé. mais je n’arrive pas a recaler les images correctement. maintenant j’ai remis le code initial. je vous laisse regarder.

    salut paul, j’avoue que j’ai eu du mal à saisir le problème, mais en fait je me suis rapidement aperçu qu’en fait il te manquait diverses choses pour qu’horinaja fonctionne, en suivant ici la démarche çà devrait fonctionner : howto pour jquery il faut bien comprendre que celui ne fonctione pas tout seul, il te faut ajouter deux plug jquery, sinon pour ne pas t’embêter avec çà tu peux prendre la version pro :)

    non il n’y était pas au moment où j’ai visité ta page … maintenant qu’ils sont bien présent dans ta page, je pense que ton erreur vient de ton css, cette erreur est une des bases du css … ajoute ceci dans ton css : *{margin:0;padding:0;} et ton problème sera résolu, rien à voir avec horinaja.

    Bonjour,
    je viens d’installer le plug sur un site qui fait sur un base spip donc avec une création dynamique de texte.

    Je ne sais pas comment expliquer mon problème mais en gros je voudrai savoir s’il est possible de gérer le capture:» , par une classe et non par une id, pour pouvoir par exemple créer un slide entier à chaque foi que l’on créer une nouvelle balise

    j’espère avoir été assez précis dans ma question

    salut stef, je crois avoir compris ta question mais de toute facon , non, horinaja n’est pas prévu pour fonctionner avec des classes, cependant rien ne t’empeche de générer des id dynamiquement

    générer les id s’avère être la meilleur solution merci pour l’idée je n’y avais pas pensé et bravo pour le plug il est vraiment bien :)

    PS: sur Firefox le formulaire de commentaire de ta page à un petit problème du css au niveau des pseudo, Mail, Site Web la couleur du texte est la même que celle du fond ;)
